BXR is a blue sensitive film with optimum contrast, fine detail and medium speed. It features a special emulsion using an eddicient silver-halide technology. BXR is recommended for general radiographic applications, particularly for use with blue and unltraviolet-emitting intensifying screens. It is valuable in extremity radiogrphy becuase of its excellent bone detail.
