May be used in manual tanks or directly in processor wash tanks. Photobrome is a bromine-based sanitizer used for controlling microbiological growth in photo-processing wash waters. It may be added to your water supply line by means of a Photobrome feeder, or for convenience, place lab paks directly in the wash tank. Photobrome is not intended to remove exsisting biological growth. It significantly reduces algae build-up so that there is less to clean. It is important to clean the processor thoroughly prior to using Photobrome. Photobrome also reduces residual thiosulfate levels, thereby improving a film's archival quality.
